And so it begins…

My hobby became a side hustle and now the side hustle has taken over my life and spilled onto the internet! For years I have been threatening a webpage, and for reasons that are too many to list here, I’ve bitten the bullet and done it.

Many of my regular customers and friends know that a cloud of creative chaos follows me everywhere; it’s my security blanket… it’s the kindling for my neurons to fire… it is where I feel most at home... However, someplace deep in the recesses of my quilter brain, there is a part, albeit a very small part, that craves some order. After all, I want my points to line up, right? So, in an effort to get more of my points to match, and hopefully to corral some of the boring business bits, I have created this website. I’m new to this kind of work, so please be kind while I get my sea legs. The World Wide Web is a rough ocean, but I am confident that with some more practice I can right this ship.

I’m still working out much of the technical bits, but soon you’ll be able to join and share pictures of quilts and participate in this blog. You’ll be able to buy kits and maybe even some of my work. You’ll also be able to sign up for events and learn about where and when I’ll be teaching. I hope to showcase not only my work, but also your pieces on this site.

I’m forever grateful to all of you for encouraging me to follow my dream…. to make with creative abandon. After all, your support is what has made this website a necessity. I hope it becomes a tool for collaboration, community and fun. But for now, I’ve been staring at this screen all day. These eyes need a rest. Tomorrow, back to the long-arm; where I feel much more at home.
